At the occasion of a Doctorate promotion, I was asked to make a gift for this doctor-to-be. It was requested that I involve a bicycle, because of his love for the sport. We do not, however, see a bicycle in this work, but only the pose of a cyclist. The plinth is a reference to the promotion.
